Yes, you may be eligible to lodge a driving record application for disqualification removal order to the Local Court.
Firstly, you have to have been offence free for two to four years. The time period depends on your record.
You must follow in order these 4 steps:
After Roads and Maritime receive your completed form, a review of your driving record will be conducted to determine your eligibility. A copy of your driving record with a Roads and Maritime covering letter will be sent to your preferred return email or postal address. The letter will provide a recommendation on your court application eligibility.

The Local Court Magistrate will decide if your disqualification can be lifted. If it is successful they will tell you when the order will come into effect.
It is important to understand that the Magistrate does not have the power to give you, a new license. You cannot begin to drive until you have applied to have your license re-issued at RMS.
After the successful appeal in Court. You will go to RMS to get issued a new license. They will require you to pass a standard knowledge test and a driving test before being re-issued with a driving license.
No, the decision is final. However, you can reapply to the Local Court after 12 months.
