According to section 96 of the Crimes Act, robbery with wounding is when an individual robs another person and wounds or inflicts actual bodily harm on them.
According to section 97 of the Crimes Act, robbery in company is when a person in the company with another person or persons robs or assaults with intent to rob another individual. This offence also refers to a group of people who search for an individual intending to rob.
The group’s use of a dangerous & offensive weapon during the robbery can also be considered an aggravated offence.
Armed robbery is when a person or person in a group commits a robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon and does inflict grievous bodily harm to another individual. This act is deemed an armed robbery by section 98 of the Crimes Act.
